I didn’t expect to actually like the flavor after what I’ve previously read, but I took a small sip and was pleasantly surprised! It’s actually good! Even if it wasn’t, I was going to chug it anyway. The ingredients are everything I need, so the flavor is not my priority. But for those on the fence- it’s a bit like a mild miso flavor when using plain water. There was nothing bitter, just a slight saltiness and almost rounded flavor that seems balanced to me. Must be the maple. I love it!
